Mark your calendars for November 1st, 2023, the official Take Our Kids to Work Day!
As we prepare for the new school year, we are excited to announce that Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW) 2023 is just around the corner. As Canada’s most recognized career exploration event, TOKW has been engaging youth with adults and the community for nearly 30 years.
At the Students Commission of Canada (SCC), we are proud to take the lead on TOKW and continue its legacy of inspiring students to explore career opportunities and prepare for the workforce.
This year, our theme is “EVERYONE BELONGS HERE!” which reinforces the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Our goal is to provide students with a glimpse of what the workforce looks like and help them understand how they can contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
